HPPSC AE JE Exam preparation

A total of 11 posts of AE(Civil) are released by Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission. The aspirants can check the key information related to HPPSC AE Syllabus 2023 from the table given below:

Selection to the Posts/ Services where no selection procedure has been prescribed in the respective notified Recruitment and Promotion Rules will be done as per selection procedure mentioned below:-
⚫ (a) Paper-1
A computer Based Test (CBT) or Offline Screening Test of one hour duration having 100 marks consisting of objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with negative marking for incorrect/wrong answer.
⚫ (b). Paper-II
A descriptive Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) of three hours duration having 120 marks as per the syllabus to be decided by the Commission from time to time.

The Screening test will be of 100 questions containing 1 mark each. A total time duration of 2 hours will be given to solve the questions asked in the exam. A negative marking of 0.25 mark will be there for every wrong answer. The detailed HPPSC AE Exam Pattern is tabulated below:

The HPPSC AE Personality Test is the selection round for the candidates.
The final selection of the candidates is solely dependent on the candidate’s performance in the personality test. If in case two candidates are having same marks on the personality test, then the preference will be given to the candidate with more marks in the screening test. The personality test is of 100 marks out of which, the minimum pass marks in the personality test are 45 for the candidates of the general category and 35 marks for the candidates of reserved categories
