(Engineering) or AMIE in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Power Systems and High Voltage / Power Plant Engineering from a University / Institution established by Law in India or a Degree of a Foreign University or Institution declared by the competent authority equivalent to a Degree in Engineering of a University established by Law in India. 2. UPPCB AEE & ASO Notification 2026 Out – CBT by IIT Kanpur | Complete Details

The Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) has released the official notification for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Environmental Engineer (AEE) and Assistant Scientific Officer (ASO) for the year 2026. As per Advertisement No. G47295/AS Camp(110)/2026 dated 27.02.2026, a total of 40 vacancies have been announced, including 26 posts for AEE and 14 posts for ASO in Pay Matrix Level-10. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online from 28 February 2026 (11:00 AM onwards) to 28 March 2026 (up to 06:00 PM). The selection will be conducted in two stages — a Computer Based Test (CBT) carrying 400 marks followed by a 70-mark interview. The CBT will consist of subject-specific technical questions along with general aptitude and will include negative marking. Candidates must carefully review educational qualifications, age criteria (21–40 years as on 01 July 2025), reservation rules, and application fee structure before applying.
