TS GENCO AE Exam Preparation

Eligibility Criteria:
Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited (TSGENCO) recruits assistant engineers for vacancies. The candidates who are applying must have the specified age and necessary educational qualifications. The following are the eligibility details:

Age limit: Candidates ages should be between 18-44 years. Age relaxation is applicable for 5 years for SC/ ST/ BC, 10 years for physically handicapped persons as per the rules.
Note:
1. As per G.O. Ms. No. 329 GA (Ser.A) Dept., dated July 27, 2015, and as adopted by TSGENCO Vide T.G.O.O No. 218 dated August 31, 2015, the upper age limit raised up to 10 years, i.e., from 34 years to 44 years
2. No person shall be eligible if he or she is less than 18 years of age, & no person shall be eligible if he or she has crossed 58 years of age (superannuation age).

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Instrumentation Controls Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, or Civil Engineering from a university in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, or Provincial Act, a State Act, or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or a pass in Sections ‘A’ and 'B' of the AMIE (India) examination.

Note: All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a university as specified in the relevant service rules intended by TSGENCO as of the date of notification.

TSGENCO AE Exam Pattern Details: Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited (TSGENCO) recruits assistant engineers for vacancies. The scheme of Examination is as follows:

Exam Pattern: Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited (TSGENCO) conducts a written exam for assistant engineer posts. The written test comprises 100 marks consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions, and each question carries “one” mark.
The written test will be carried out in two sections (Section-A and Section-B).

• Section A consists of 80 questions on the core subject of each respective discipline.


• Section B consists of 20 questions on general awareness and numerical ability.

The duration of the written examination will be 120 minutes (2 hours).

TSGENCO AE Selection Process: Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited (TSGENCO) recruits assistant engineers for vacancies. TSGENCO Assistant Engineer selection process details are given below.

Selection Process: The selection process will be based 100% on a written examination.The written test comprises 100 marks consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions, and each question carries “One” mark. The written test will be carried out in two sections (Section-A and Section-B). Section-A consists of 80 questions on core subject of respective discipline, & Section-B consists of 20 questions on general awareness and numerical ability. The duration of the written examination will be 120 minutes (2 hours).
1. Only those candidates who qualify in the written examination by being ranked high, community wise will be called for verification of Original Certificates in 1:1 ratio.
2. The minimum qualifying marks in the written test are OC – 40%, BC – 35%, SC/ ST – 30%, PH – 30% or as per Rules.
