The Airports Authority of India Recruitment 2026 notification has been released for 389 vacancies, comprising 260 Manager posts and 129 Junior Executive posts. Manager vacancies are available in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, Architecture, Law, Fire Services, Operations, Commercial, Corporate Planning and Management Services, and Corporate Communications. Junior Executive vacancies are available in Finance, Law, Operations, and Survey and Cartography.
Eligibility differs according to the selected discipline. Candidates may require qualifications such as a relevant engineering degree, MBA or PGDM in Finance, CA, Cost Accountant, CFA, MCA, Architecture, Law, Statistics, Economics, Mass Communication, Journalism, Science, Geography, Remote Sensing, GIS, Geo-informatics, or Geomatics. Manager applicants generally require three years of relevant post-qualification experience, while no experience is required for the advertised Junior Executive posts.Only eligible Indian nationals can apply.
The maximum age is 32 years for Manager posts and 27 years for Junior Executive posts, calculated as on 7 September 2026. Age relaxation is available according to government rules for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD, eligible ex-servicemen and regular AAI employees. The application window will open on 8 August 2026 and close on 7 September 2026.
Managers will receive a pay scale of ₹60,000–1,80,000, with an approximate annual CTC of ₹21 lakh. Junior Executives will receive a pay scale of ₹40,000–1,40,000, with an approximate annual CTC of ₹14 lakh, along with applicable allowances and benefits.
The selection process begins with an objective Computer-Based Test for all posts, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. The CBT will be bilingual in Hindi and English, except for the language test. Manager posts will additionally include an interview, while application verification and post-specific tests will be conducted wherever applicable. Manager Fire Services candidates must qualify in physical measurement, driving and physical endurance tests. A permanent Light Motor Vehicle licence is mandatory for Operations posts and Manager Fire Services. The detailed subject-wise syllabus will be published separately by AAI.
The application fee is ₹1,000, inclusive of GST, payable online. SC, ST, PwBD and women candidates, along with candidates who have successfully completed one year of apprenticeship training in AAI, are exempted from paying the fee. Candidates must submit their applications through the Careers section of the official AAI website.
